
Yesterday was our food tasting session at Xin Cusine Restaurant. Dar's Mum was at our House so we set off with two cars to pick up "Da Yi", Daddy n Mummy at 545 but it was already 715 when we reached the restaurant.. we were shown to the VIP.. never been to any VIP room before.. keke.. when we were seate.. we browse thru the menu which is going to be served to us.. we realised that 2 items were not changed as confirmed with Ivan earlier.. the staff couldnt managed to contact Ivan a few times.. i decided to contact him myself.. Managed to get him at one call.. he seem to have forgotten about my request.. but they are able to change the cream of green bean to yam paste with Ginko nuts.. but not the lotus rice.. as it need time to cook.. thus we have to go with the fried rice at the food tasting session.. but he compensated us by giving us a bottle of red wine upon our request.. hehe.. all the dishes are large in portion and taste except for some fine details as point out by Liang Hao (he is a cook and know how to go for smell, taste, look) whereas we only go for taste.. lolxx... we have communicate our feedback to the chef and hopefully he amemend our request and maintain the same standard on the actual day...
Ivan later promised us that me n Eugene can go for a tasting of the Lotus Rice with Dim sum on 8 Nov (deepavali) with his compliments while confirming some final details.. hee.. gg to eat eat again...
